In month 8 of the relationship(February or so) she threw out the marriage word to me. I was caught off guard but I was not opposed to it. In fact, after thinking it over for a while, it became clear to me that I did want to marry her. Since then we have talked pretty regularly about getting married and having a house, and kids, and all the rest. We have met each other's families. My family liked her but her family had mixed feelings about me. She attributes this at least part because of the fact that our location is too far from her home(about a 12 hour drive) and her family wants her to move back there.
